ESA BIC Brindisi: November 2026 round

ESA BIC Brindisi gives space startups in Italy €50,000 without equity, plus mentoring and incubation. Next closing date is 18 November 2026.

ESA BIC Brindisi is the European Space Agency business incubation centre in Puglia, Italy. Selected startups get €50,000 in funding with zero equity and zero repayment. ESA pays €25,000 and Regione Puglia pays the other €25,000.

The money can cover most costs, such as product development, IP, marketing, travel, staff salaries and equipment. It cannot pay founders' salaries. Teams also get 80 hours of technical, business and legal mentoring, up to two years of incubation, and access to the ESA BIC network.

Startups under five years old can apply, and so can informal teams that are ready to incorporate. The company must be incorporated in Italy, or be willing to incorporate there if selected. The founding team must own at least half of it. The project needs a credible link between space and a market application.

To apply, check eligibility and book the mandatory introductory meeting first. Then submit the application online before the closing date. Shortlisted teams pitch to a panel of ESA and ASI representatives.

The next closing date is 18 November 2026. An online info day takes place on 7 October 2026 from 15:00 to 16:00 CEST.
