The Hello Tomorrow Global Challenge 2027 selects deep tech startups worldwide, with a €200K equity prize for the winner. Apply by November 30, 2026.
The Hello Tomorrow Global Challenge is a yearly competition for deep tech startups. The 12th edition takes applications online until 30 November 2026, and the finals take place at the Hello Tomorrow Summit in Amsterdam on 2 and 3 June 2027.
About 800 startups are selected as Deep Tech Pioneers. They get recognition and access to the investor network, the Investor Day on 1 June 2027 and the Summit. About 90 finalists pitch for the grand prize, a €200K equity investment from DeepBright Ventures. The 13 track winners receive prizes in kind such as coaching and introductions.
Startups up to and including Series B can apply. The company must be built on a new technology, a scientific discovery or a complex engineering process, and the team needs at least two people. A separate Spinout Breakthroughs prize is open to idea stage and pre seed teams.
Pioneers are selected in February 2027 and finalists are announced in April 2027. Hello Tomorrow runs an online question session on 5 November 2026 for applicants.

No, not to apply. Prize money is only transferred once the company is incorporated.

Applying is free. First time Pioneers who attend the Summit pay a €99 ticket deposit, refunded within two months if they attend.
