ESA BIC Denmark: November 2026 application deadline

ESA BIC Denmark runs a two year incubation programme for startups that have a link to space. Each selected startup receives €80,000 to spend on product or business development. The funding is paid in three parts: €20,000 at kickoff, €30,000 at midterm and €30,000 at the end.

The programme also gives coaching and technical advice from ESA and from national partners, plus access to the wider ESA BIC network. ESA does not take equity.

To apply you must be a startup up to five years old with a valid space connection, headquartered in Denmark and at least 51 percent self owned. You need a CVR number, or you must commit to registering one if you are accepted. Entrepreneurs who only plan to set up a business can apply as well.

ESA BIC Denmark asks you to book a meeting with the team before you send an application. The application platform usually opens one to two months before the deadline, and the ESA BIC DK Submission Form has to be filled in separately and uploaded.

The next deadline is November 2, 2026. Applications are checked against ESA's formal requirements within two days, and pitches to the Tender Evaluation Board take place in Copenhagen from December 1 to December 3, 2026. There are normally two deadlines a year, one in spring and one in autumn.
