ESA BIC Andalusia offers space startups up to €60,000 in equity free funding and incubation in Seville. The next cutoff is October 30, 2026.
ESA BIC Andalusia is the European Space Agency business incubation centre in Seville. Selected startups receive up to €60,000 in funding with no equity taken: €30,000 from ESA and €30,000 from the Junta de Andalucía.
Support also includes 50 hours of business coaching, up to 20 hours of technical help from CATEC and ESA experts, 10 hours of legal and IP advice, and access to CATEC facilities. The incubator sits in the Naves de Renfe building, near the Spanish Space Agency.
Space related startups, upstream or downstream, can apply if they are registered in Spain and under five years old. Informal founder teams can apply if they commit to registering in Andalusia. The startup must be located in Andalusia during incubation.
The open call accepts applications all year and evaluates them at cutoff dates. The next cutoff is October 30, 2026, at 12:00 CET. To apply, download the application package from the page and email one signed application form as a PDF to the address given there.
Applications go through a completeness check, then an evaluation board with ESA, the Spanish Space Agency, the Junta and outside experts, then an interview in English. The business case weighs most. Rejected applicants can apply again in a later round.
