Open Science NL FAIR Research Outputs call 2026: first round
Open Science NL pre announced a call of up to €50,000 per project to make datasets and software FAIR. The deadline is 23 February 2027.
Open Science NL has pre announced the first round of its FAIR Research Outputs call. The maximum budget per project is €50,000. The deadline is Tuesday 23 February 2027 at 14:00 CET.
The programme has a total budget of €2.85 million. Of that, €1.4 million is set aside for this first call.
The money is for making research outputs open and FAIR, which means findable, accessible, interoperable and reusable. The call covers outputs that are not traditional papers, such as datasets, software and creative works. It also covers work on guidelines, standards and tools that help other people publish outputs in this way.
Applications are handled continuously and awarded in order of submission until the budget ceiling is reached. Open Science NL says the call opens in September 2026.
This entry records the pre announcement, which Open Science NL published on 10 August 2026. The notice states that applications may only be submitted after the call for proposals appears in the Staatscourant, so there is no application form to link to yet.
