The Open Science Meetings call from Open Science NL pays for meetings where open science communities work on topics of common interest. The maximum grant is €15,000 per application. The deadline is 10 December 2026, before 14:00 CET.
The grant pays €100 per participant per day. Travel and accommodation for an international speaker can add up to €2,000 per speaker.
Applicants need a tenured or tenure track position at a Dutch university, an academic medical centre, a KNAW or NWO institute, or another designated research organisation. Co applicants may come from museums, libraries, patient organisations and citizen collectives. People on zero hour contracts cannot apply, and each person may submit one application per year.
Applications go through the ISAAC system, which also lets applicants follow the assessment. A meeting has to start at least six weeks after the application is sent and no later than twelve months after the grant decision.
The call page reported on 8 September 2026 that 22 percent of the €400,000 budget for the 2026 call was still available.
