CHARTED Fund 4: Supporting Professional Development pays up to £5,000 per person. The fund page says £150,000 is available across the whole CHARTED project. Submission deadlines fall on the 15th of every month, so the fund runs all year.
The fund is for early career professionals and for people moving into digital research technical professional roles in the UK. Applicants explain how the activity helps them and how they will share what they learn with their local community afterwards.
The money covers conference attendance, training course fees, certificates and visits to other institutions for knowledge exchange. Requests to cover staff time are not eligible.
Applications go through the Good Grants platform. Applicants register on the platform and sign in to reach the online form. The CHARTED team answers questions by email.
CHARTED is part of dRTP Skills and is paid for by the UKRI Digital Research Infrastructure programme.
