CHARTED Fund 1: FAIRifying Training Resources
CHARTED pays up to £40,000 for projects that make training resources easier to find and reuse. The first round closes on 30 September 2026.
CHARTED Fund 1: FAIRifying Training Resources pays up to £40,000 per project. The fund page says the total amount available is £350,000, spread across at least two application rounds. The first round closes on 30 September 2026 at 11:59pm BST.
Projects must improve the FAIR aspects of training resources, which means findability, accessibility, interoperability and reusability. Work that creates content to support this effort also counts.
Lead applicants can sit at UK universities in any digital research technical professional role. UK based nonprofit organisations that can sign a grant agreement can apply as well, and so can freelance trainers, educators and community managers who work mainly in the UK.
Applications go through the Good Grants platform. Applicants register online first and then complete the form. CHARTED expects a second round of this fund to open in late spring 2027.
The fund is part of dRTP Skills and is paid for by the UKRI Digital Research Infrastructure programme.
