Claude Corps fellowship
Claude Corps is a one year paid fellowship at nonprofits across the United States for people early in their careers, with an $85,000 salary. Applications are rolling for the 2027 cohorts.
Claude Corps is a national fellowship run by Anthropic. It places people early in their careers inside nonprofits across the United States for one year of full time, in person work. Anthropic plans to teach 1,000 fellows how to use Claude and match them with host organizations.
Fellows receive a salary of $85,000 per year with full benefits. Anthropic funds the fellowship together with CodePath and Social Finance, which cover salary, benefits, training and ongoing support. Fellows get an initial intensive onboarding, five hours of instruction every week, a large Claude token budget, mentorship from CodePath and office hours with Anthropic.
Applicants must be over 18, have fewer than two years of full time work experience and be authorized to work in the United States. There is no education requirement. Fellows should be comfortable using Claude and willing to relocate if needed, with support provided.
Three cohorts are planned. The first cohort of 100 fellows starts in October 2026 and its applications closed on July 17. Applications for the second cohort, starting in January 2027, and the third cohort, starting in August 2027, are open on a rolling basis.
Fellows and host organizations both apply through the Claude Corps website. Anthropic selects fellows based on their experience with AI, their communication skills and their motivation to work on societal challenges.
