Pro Helvetia Game Design Emerging Talents: Nordic Game Conference 2027 delegation
Pro Helvetia gives emerging Swiss game studios a place in the SwissGames delegation at Nordic Game 2027 plus CHF 1,000 for travel. Apply by 1 November 2026.
Pro Helvetia is taking applications for the SwissGames delegation at the Nordic Game Conference 2027. The call is part of its Game Design Emerging Talents program. The conference takes place from 25 to 28 May 2027 in Malmö.
Selected studios usually get a stand at the SwissGames booth with trade fair passes, coaching events, networking events, access to the matchmaking platform and promotion of their project. Each studio gets CHF 1,000 towards travel and accommodation. Game designers with childcare duties can ask for up to CHF 250 per week for childcare or for the travel costs of their children and a carer.
The call is for emerging talents with a connection to Switzerland. These are professional game designers whose game design education or company foundation dates back less than 7 years. The project must be a digital game with a high level of interaction, and the applicant must hold the rights. Commissioned and promotional work and purely technical projects without clear narrative or visual content are excluded.
The application needs a short game description, goals for the fair, a playable prototype with images, CVs, proof of emerging talent status and a press kit. Documents should be in English. At least 2 people must attend the fair. It is also possible to take part without a booth.
Applications opened on 1 September and close on 1 November 2026 at 23:59 CET through the Pro Helvetia portal. A panel of experts makes the selection, and decisions come in December.
