XRPL Glow grants

XRPL Glow is a retroactive funding program from XRPL Commons for people who already built open source work on the XRP Ledger. A newsroom post on 23 July 2026 says applications are open with no referral, on a quarterly cadence. The Glow site, checked the same day this card was written, says Wave 1 is open and has a button to submit a project.

The site describes awards as small, medium, or large. It does not state dollar amounts. A project must offer real value at no cost and help XRPL developers, users, infrastructure, or the protocol. The categories on the site are technical debt, the core protocol, existing standards, new standards, documentation and example code, community tools, and supporting infrastructure.

The same post says the program launched in October 2025, has funded 11 projects, is 60 percent disbursed, and runs through December 2026. It does not give the day in December when it stops. The Glow site describes community voting, seven judges, a KYC check, and then payment. Money that is not paid out moves to the next wave.
