Entrepreneurs First Winter 27 Bangalore Program
EF's Winter 27 Bangalore Program funds individuals with an INR 360,000 talent investment and $125,000 at company formation. First round closes October 5, 2026.
The Winter 27 Bangalore Program is the next cohort of Entrepreneurs First in India. It starts in early 2027, is full time and in person, and takes people before they have a business, a cofounder or an idea.
Upon joining, each participant receives an INR 360,000 Talent Investment. The payment is subject to a tax deduction at source of 10 percent as of April 2026. When a company is formed, EF invests $125,000 via a SAFE for 8 percent of the company. An additional $125,000 from EF and Transpose Platform via an uncapped MFN SAFE is available on certain conditions.
FORM, the first 12 weeks, takes place in the Bangalore office. Teams that receive funding then relocate to San Francisco for LAUNCH, the final 12 weeks. Founders who pass selection relocate to join from all over the world. EF does not provide visas but says it can often help with a visa application.
Applications go through the EF portal and start with basic details and email verification before further questions. There are three selection rounds. Applying by October 5, 2026 puts a candidate in the first round.
EF looks for exceptional individuals who have outperformed their peers, built products, organisations or startups before, and want to build a company. Early career people are the main target, though the separate XF2 track exists for experienced founders.
