imec.istart Netherlands offers €100,000 in pre seed funding for tech startups based in the Netherlands. Apply by 31 October 2026.
imec.istart Netherlands is the Dutch branch of the imec.istart accelerator, run with the university incubator Novel-T. The Netherlands page says the call is now open. The imec.istart apply page lists the Autumn 2026 Netherlands call as open from 1 October to 31 October, with an apply link.
The page offers pre seed funding between 100,000 and up to 250,000 euro per startup. The finance section states €100,000 pre seed funding, divided into €50,000 for 6% equity and €50,000 as a convertible loan. Startups can also apply for up to €150,000 in extra investment, totalling €250,000. The program includes coaching by a venture acceleration manager, workshops, the Innovatrix progress tool, and a network of more than 100 experts. It also offers a funding need assessment, a pitch to an investor group, and a five year financial roadmap.
imec.istart Netherlands looks for startups with a tech product, software or hardware, deep tech or not, a working proof of concept, a complementary founding team, and headquarters in the Netherlands. It says it often acts as a first investor.
