LYVA Labs Incubator 2027
LYVA Labs offers Liverpool City Region startups up to £25,000 on day one of a six month incubator. Applications close 29 October 2026 at 5 p.m.
The LYVA Labs Incubator is a six month support programme for early stage startups in the Liverpool City Region. LYVA Labs announced the 2027 cohort on 1 October 2026. It is funded through the Liverpool City Region Innovation Zone. Selected businesses receive up to £25,000 on the first day through an Advanced Subscription Agreement, and join the LYVA Labs investment portfolio. The news post also says up to £250,000 in matched funding may be available later, at the discretion of the investment committee.
The programme is for incorporated startups and spinouts based in the Liverpool City Region, with a business bank account, that are seeking investment. The technology should be at readiness level 2 to 5, from proof of concept to prototype. Sectors are health and life sciences, clean tech, and deep tech. Health and life sciences excludes pharmaceuticals, drugs, alcohol, and consumer health. Deep tech covers physical science, material science, data science, advanced engineering, robotics, and artificial intelligence. If the product is AI, LYVA Labs says the AI must be a core engine of the product, using proprietary, customer owned, or continually improving data. It excludes chat first products without a workflow, thin wrappers around third party model APIs, and prompt only automation without proprietary system logic.
Support includes one to one commercial mentoring from two advisors, workshops on market, business model, investor readiness, finance, brand, intellectual property, and people, plus introductions to mentors, research partners, and industry. The programme ends with an investor demo day. Since 2024 the incubator has supported 24 startups and spinouts.
You apply on the LYVA Labs incubator application form. The form is described as a short application of about 10 minutes. Interviews for successful applicants run from 4 to 17 November 2026. Up to 12 businesses pitch to an external panel on 28 January 2027. Investments are completed on 12 March 2027, and the programme runs from March to September 2027, with demo day and graduation in September 2027.
Applications opened on 1 October 2026 and close at 5 p.m. on 29 October 2026. A question and answer webinar is set for 19 October 2026 at 10:00 a.m.
