The Arbitrum Open House Dubai: Online Buildathon is an online hackathon run by the Arbitrum Foundation on HackQuest. The prize pool is $30,000 USD. The breakdown of the prizes is still to be announced, and the organizer notes that prizes may change if submissions do not meet its quality standard.
The buildathon is open to developers, creators and founders. Teams can bring an existing product or start from scratch. Projects are built with Stylus or Solidity and deployed on Arbitrum One or on the team's own Orbit chain.
The organizer invites projects in DeFi, gaming, social applications and developer tools, or something entirely new. Detailed tracks and judging criteria are listed as coming soon.
Registration runs from October 31 to December 5, 2026. The submission window opens on November 16 and closes on December 6, 2026. Rewards are announced on December 13, 2026.
Participants get Arbitrum documentation, HackQuest learning materials, testnet information and a Discord channel with the Arbitrum developer relations team. HackQuest notes that it does not handle the final judging unless stated otherwise.
