Celo Agents on Open Rails hackathon 2026

The Agents on Open Rails hackathon is a Celo DevRel contest for agents that charge, pay, save, and settle on payment rails that are already live. The post offers $5,000 in prizes. Onchain volume counts toward the score, along with project strength and fit with Celo. The build runs for five weeks on Celo mainnet.
Track 1, Stable Agents for Latin America, pays $2,000 in CELO: $1,500 for first and $500 for second. It covers agents that use Ripio wFIAT stablecoins on Celo, including wARS, wBRL, wMXN, wCOP, wPEN, and wCLP. Track 2, Open Corridors, also pays $2,000 in CELO, split into two subtracks of $750 and $250. One is smarter quoting on Textile for cNGN, wARS, wBRL, and USDC against USD₮. The other settles payments in USA₮ through Celo's x402 facilitator. Track 3, Build with buy, pays $1,000 in CELO across five projects at $200 each, for products whose main flow pays for a service the team does not own.
The post also says every team gets three months of Chainstack's Growth Plan. It points to a separate Prezenti grant pool of $165,000 this season, and says hackathon results add to the track record when someone applies there.
