The Xsolla Scholarship Program at GDC 2027 helps game developers attend the GDC Festival of Gaming when travel and attendance costs would keep them away. This year the program grows from 45 to 75 recipients.
Each recipient gets a GDC Festival of Gaming 2027 pass and four hotel nights at a hotel chosen by GDC, from 1 to 5 March 2027. Recipients are also invited to an Xsolla lunch at the Xsolla Clubhouse on Howard Street, Xsolla events and networking sessions, and introductions to Xsolla's funding, marketing, integration and customer success teams.
Developers and studios anywhere in the world can apply if they have an active game in development. Projects can be at any stage, from early concept to near launch. Xsolla says the final group will mix early, mid and near release projects and will include underrepresented developers.
Xsolla judges applications on creativity and innovation, impact and potential, and professionalism and readiness. Applications opened in mid October and close on 30 November 2026. You apply through the form on the Xsolla events site.
GDC 2027 takes place from 1 to 5 March 2027 at the Moscone Center in San Francisco. Recipients are announced in January 2027.
