HERIFORGE 2nd Open Call is a grant for projects that use immersive technology to make cultural heritage more interactive, accessible, and inclusive. HERIFORGE announced the call on 25 August 2026. The deadline is 27 October 2026 at 17:00 CET, which the application page also gives as 17:00 Brussels time.
Funding is up to €50,000 per project. The application page says up to six projects will be selected, with technical mentoring for up to six months. The work must answer a challenge set by the HERIFORGE hubs in Cyprus, Poland, and Türkiye. The technology is extended reality, including VR and AR.
Eligible applicants are individual SMEs, including startups, natural persons, or NGOs such as foundations and associations. They must be from an EU Member State or a Horizon Europe associated country, and they need a local footprint in Cyprus, Poland, or Türkiye.
