Flagship Pioneering Fellowship 2027
Flagship Pioneering pays $8,000 to $9,000 a month for a 12 week summer fellowship in Cambridge, MA, for PhD and MD level scientists. Apply by 15 December 2026.
The Flagship Pioneering Fellowship 2027 is a paid, full time summer fellowship at Flagship's offices in Kendall Square, Cambridge, Massachusetts. It runs for 12 weeks, from 7 June to 27 August 2027, and is held in person.
Fellows work in teams to come up with scientific and technology concepts that could become new companies in human health, sustainability, AI and other fields. The posting lists pay of $8,000 to $9,000 per month.
The fellowship is for early career scientists, technologists, engineers and physicians. Applicants need deep expertise in a scientific or technical field and must have finished, or be in the final year of, a PhD, MD or equivalent. There is no separate AI and machine learning track this year. People with that background apply through the general track.
Apply through the Greenhouse posting by 15 December 2026. Flagship holds information sessions on 15 October, 10 November and 7 December 2026. Fellows are expected to be available for possible full time work in Cambridge no later than 1 June 2028.
