Vercel Open Source Program: Summer 2026 cohort

Vercel gives selected open source projects $3,600 in platform credits over three years plus partner credits. Summer 2026 applications close September 13.

The Vercel Open Source Program supports open source projects with credits and community help. Applications for the Summer 2026 cohort opened on August 28, 2026 and are open until September 13.

Selected projects receive $3,600 in Vercel platform credits over three years, an OSS Starter Pack with credits from third party services, and community support from Vercel with priority and guidance. After the three years a project graduates out of the program.

To be considered, a project must be an open source project that is actively developed and maintained, be hosted on or intend to host on Vercel, show measurable impact or growth potential, follow a Code of Conduct, and use the credits only for open source work and the project itself.

Vercel says projects at all stages of development are welcome, including nonprofits with fully open source projects and startup side projects. Funded open source companies are pointed to the Startups Program instead.

Applications go through the program's application site. The Spring 2026 cohort listed 29 projects.
