JumpStart Trailblazer Software Accelerator: January 2027 cohort
JumpStart's Trailblazer Software Accelerator covers the first $50K of expert services for Ohio software startups, with no fees or equity. Apply by November 10, 2026.
The Trailblazer Software Accelerator from JumpStart Inc. is a three month program for pre seed and seed software startups that want to prepare for a venture capital raise. The next cohort runs from January 12 to April 29, 2027.
JumpStart fully covers the first $50,000 of services from its preferred partners, and this money must be used during the three months of the program. There are no fees and JumpStart takes no ownership stake. Startups get dedicated advisors, workshops with tech and venture experts, and a chance to pitch investors and corporates. After the final pitch competition, founders get two more months of support from an entrepreneur in residence to help with the raise.
The program is for startups based in Ohio, or planning to move there, that solve significant problems and have a venture backable model. They should plan to raise venture capital within 12 months after the program, and the team should have an MVP with evidence of market validation.
The program is hybrid. Weekly sessions are online, and the kick off, the midpoint pitches and the final event for investors are in person. All applicants are screened first, and strong ones are invited to interviews. The team scores market need and size, value proposition, product stage, competitive advantage, sales, team and CEO coachability.
Applications close on November 10, 2026. Selection notices go out about three to four weeks after applications close.
