Harvard Alumni Entrepreneurs Accelerator 2027
Free 10 week virtual accelerator for startups founded by Harvard alumni, run with Pegasus Tech Ventures. Applications open 21 October and close 16 December 2026.
The Harvard Alumni Entrepreneurs Accelerator is a 10 week virtual program for startups founded by Harvard alumni. It is run with Pegasus Tech Ventures, a Silicon Valley venture capital firm. Applications for the 2027 cohort open on 21 October 2026.
The program helps founders move from early traction to investor readiness. Each startup is matched with two lead mentors and may also get advisors for areas such as fundraising, operations or go to market. Founders meet their mentors at least every two weeks and their advisors at least three times. Startups also get access to the investor networks of HAE and Pegasus Tech Ventures.
At least one founder must be a Harvard degree holder or have alumni status. The team needs two or more people, an operating product, prototype or defined MVP, and a legal entity such as a company or LLC. Founders should work full time or close to full time on the startup. The company needs a CEO and at least one other founder who is fluent in English. Ventures from any industry and any country can apply.
To apply, complete the online form before 16 December 2026 and upload a pitch deck and a one minute team video. The selection committee looks at how clear the problem is, market potential, competitive advantage, team strength and traction such as customers, pilots or early revenue.
Selected teams must attend all live virtual sessions, meet their mentors regularly and complete assignments and pitch rehearsals. Questions go to accelerator@harvardae.org.

Do I need to be a member of Harvard Alumni Entrepreneurs?
Yes. All alumni founders who apply must be HAE members. Membership costs $99 a year.
What do I need to submit?
The online form, your current pitch deck and a one minute team video. A product demo video is optional and can be emailed to accelerator@harvardae.org.
What happens at Demo Day?
Each cohort ends with a Demo Day. The top venture is fast tracked to the HAE Startup World Cup, a global competition for $1 million.
