X Layer TapeOut Accelerate 2026 hackathon
X Layer TapeOut Accelerate is an online hackathon with a 100,000 USDT prize pool for apps built with TapeOut on X Layer. Submit by December 7, 2026.
X Layer TapeOut Accelerate is an online hackathon run by X Layer together with TapeOut, a protocol that provides computing logic for on chain applications. It runs from October 16 to December 7, 2026, and is part of the Build X series of X Layer hackathons.
The prize pool is 100,000 USDT, sponsored by the TapeOut community. One first prize pays 20,000 USDT, five second prizes pay 10,000 USDT each and five third prizes pay 6,000 USDT each. The organizers say the pool may grow with more contributions. Winners also get PR support from X Layer.
Projects must use TapeOut circuits, contracts or on chain data on X Layer, or run on X Layer DeWEB. Apps, games, online services, developer tools, circuit design and new mechanisms are all welcome. Individuals and teams can enter. The hackathon takes place online, and shortlisted teams attend an offline Demo Day.
To enter, send your project description and the relevant contract addresses or links through the Google Form before December 7, 2026, at 23:59 UTC. The organizers call this deadline provisional and say the event page will confirm the final date. Circuit projects must give the processor contract address and circuit ID. Apps and tools must give an access link.
The X Layer and TapeOut teams judge entries together. They look at user value and commercial potential, originality, use of TapeOut and its tools, and how complete the product is. A demo video of up to three minutes is recommended.
