Prosper HealthTech Accelerator Spring 2027

Prosper HealthTech Accelerator invests up to $90,000 in each of five health tech startups for its Spring 2027 cohort in Birmingham, Alabama. Apply by 8 November 2026.

The Prosper HealthTech Accelerator Spring 2027 is a gener8tor program in Birmingham, Alabama. It invests in five high growth startups per cohort. It is open to any startup building health technology, and it aims to make Birmingham a center for health technology in the Southeast.

Selected teams receive up to $90,000. The first $50,000 is required and buys 5% of the common equity through a stock purchase agreement. An optional $40,000 convertible note can follow, for a total initial investment of $90,000. Teams also get 12 weeks of coaching from the gener8tor team in meetings every two weeks, meetings with more than 100 mentors and investors, weekly cohort sessions and a pitch event at the end.

The program is for early stage companies that tackle major healthcare problems. gener8tor says the startups that gain most show two or more of these: unique technology or IP, products that customers use again and again, solutions that cut costs or save lives, strong market potential, clinical validation, and founders with healthcare experience.

Recruitment began on 14 September 2026. Applications are due on 8 November 2026. First round interviews start on 2 November and second round interviews on 16 November. The program runs from 21 January to 16 April 2027. You apply on the form on the gener8tor apply page.
