Hackman X 2026

Hackman X is the 10th edition of Hackman, a 24 hour in person hackathon at the Dayananda Sagar College of Engineering campus in Bengaluru. It is organised by GENESIS, the student club of the Department of Information Science and Engineering. The event runs on 26 and 27 October 2026. Registration opened on 8 October 2026 and closes on 20 October 2026.
The winning team receives ₹40,000 in cash and a two year CodeCrafters VIP membership worth $720 for every team member. Second place receives ₹20,000 in cash and a one year membership worth $360 for every team member. Third place receives ₹10,000 in cash and a six month membership worth $180 for every team member. A Render track pays $500, $300 and $100 in Render credits. To be eligible for that track, the project must use Render Workflows, and winners must share a demo video and a deployed Render URL.
Teams need 2 to 4 members. Inter college teams are allowed. Every member must be a registered student with a valid college ID. There is no registration fee. Apply on the Devfolio page. The page asks teams to bring laptops, chargers, extension cords and student ID cards, and to follow the Devfolio code of conduct.
