USC and Techstars Accelerator Spring 2027

The USC and Techstars Accelerator invests $220,000 in startups with a USC affiliated founder. Spring 2027 applications close November 18, 2026.

The USC and Techstars Accelerator is a 13 week, in person program on the University Park Campus of the University of Southern California in Los Angeles. It combines the resources of the university with the Techstars network. Applications for the Spring 2027 class are open.

Each company gets a $220,000 equity investment and over $2M worth of perks. Founders also get office space for the length of the program, regular one to one mentor sessions, workshops, masterclasses, speaker series and pitch practice. The program ends with Demo Day, where founders pitch to investors.

The program is for pre seed and seed stage startups in all industries. Techstars says it has particular interest in bioscience, engineering, AI, healthcare, deep tech and media technology. At least one founding team member must be a USC student, alumnus, faculty or staff member. Founders affiliated with Keck Medicine of USC and Children's Hospital Los Angeles can also apply.

Applications opened on August 24, 2026, and the final deadline is November 18, 2026. The accelerator starts on March 8, 2027, and Demo Day is on June 3, 2027. Founders apply through the Apply button on the program page.
