Women TechEU 2 EIC: January 2027 deadline

Women TechEU 2 EIC supports early stage deep tech startups founded or led by women. Each selected startup gets €75,000 and a business development programme with mentoring, coaching and training. The European Innovation Council plans to select 160 startups in the 2026 to 2028 edition.

The startup must be founded or cofounded by a woman who holds a CEO, CTO or equivalent role, and women must hold at least 25% of the shares. It must be a commercial company registered for 6 months to 5 years in an EU Member State or a Horizon Europe associated country, among them the UK, Norway, Switzerland, Israel, Türkiye and Ukraine. The technology should be at TRL4 to TRL6, and the company must have raised less than €1M in equity.

Companies that already benefited from an earlier Women TechEU call or from the EIC Accelerator cannot apply.

Applying has two stages. First you pass the eligibility check on the cascade funding platform, with weekly cutoffs every Tuesday at 17:00. The full proposal is by invitation only.

The next full proposal deadline is January 14, 2027, at 17:00 Brussels time. Later deadlines are April 1 and July 8, 2027.
