Infineon Boss Battle in the AI Arena 2026
Infineon is running a hardware contest on the PSOC Edge E84 AI kit with a $2,000 prize pool. Submissions open 13 October 2026 and close 3 January 2027.
Boss Battle in the AI Arena is a hardware contest run by Infineon on Hackster.io. Entrants build a project on the PSOC Edge E84 AI kit and try to beat the projects made by Infineon's own engineers.
The total prize pool is $2,000. One Beat the Boss winner receives a prize worth $1,000, and two runners up receive prizes worth $500 each. Judges pick the best three qualifying projects against the judging criteria in the contest rules.
Registration opened on 8 September 2026. Project submissions open on 13 October 2026 at 12:00 PM PDT and close on 3 January 2027 at 11:59 PM PST. Winners are announced by 29 January 2027.
The KIT_PSE84_AI board comes preloaded with two demos to help people start. Infineon notes that free kits were already handed out through the PSOC Edge City engagement program, but that a low cost kit can still be bought for this contest.
