QHack 2026: Quantum Coding Championship
Xanadu's QHack 2026 pays a $67,000 cash pool for quantum coding challenges from October 16 to 23. Register now at qhack.ai.
QHack 2026 is Xanadu's PennyLane powered quantum coding championship. Registration opened on August 24, 2026. Coding challenges run from October 16 at 10:00 AM ET to October 23 at 6:00 PM ET. The cash prize pool is $67,000.
Players compete solo or in a team of up to four. The challenge board has up to 20 problems across three difficulty levels. Points go to correct answers. Faster solves rank higher when scores match. Team creation through the Challenge Portal at qhack.ai began on September 14, 2026.
First place pays $15,000, second $13,000, and third $11,000, split among the team. Places four through ten pay $7,000 down to $1,000. Teams in places 11 through 100 receive PennyLane certificates. A separate referral contest pays $100 to each of the ten people whose PennyLane usernames bring in the most registrations.
Xanadu is the organizer. Residents of Quebec, Russia, Iran, North Korea and Belarus cannot enter. Register on the QHack website. The terms page was last updated on September 11, 2026 and does not say the contest is closed.
