
PCBWay 9th Project Design Contest
PCBWay runs its 9th Project Design Contest with cash prizes up to $2,000 plus hardware for electronics, robotics and mechanical projects. Submissions close January 24, 2027.
The PCBWay 9th Project Design Contest is open for submissions from September 1, 2026 to January 24, 2027. Review runs from January 25 to February 25, 2027, and the results are announced on March 5, 2027.
The contest has five themes: Edge AI and IoT, Robotics, Power, Open Theme and Mechanical design. Participants may enter several original projects, alone or as a team. Only projects created or updated and submitted during the submission period qualify.
The first prize is $2,000 in cash plus a $200 coupon and an NVIDIA Jetson Orin Nano Super 8GB developer kit. Two second prizes get $1,500, a $100 coupon and a Raspberry Pi 5 8GB. Three third prizes get $800, a $50 coupon and an Orange Pi 5 Plus. Ten popular design prizes get $100, a $20 coupon and a DS211 mini oscilloscope. Every participant receives a Raspberry Pi Pico 2 as a participation award.

Entries are judged on project design at 30 percent, practical impact at 30 percent, documentation at 25 percent and community popularity at 15 percent.
