Y Combinator Winter 2027 batch
Y Combinator invests $500,000 in each startup accepted to its Winter 2027 batch in San Francisco. The on time application deadline is November 2, 2026.
Y Combinator is accepting applications for the Winter 2027 batch. The batch takes place from January to March 2027 in person at YC's campus in San Francisco.
The deadline to apply on time is November 2, 2026 at 8pm PT. Applicants who apply before the deadline get a decision by December 11. Later applications are still considered, but YC does not promise when it will answer. Most interviews are held by video conference in November and December, and YC usually decides on the same day as the interview.
YC invests $500,000 in every accepted company. $125,000 of that converts into a fixed 7 percent stake and $375,000 is invested on an uncapped SAFE with a most favored nation clause. YC also gets a right to invest in later rounds and charges no fees. The investment is made as soon as a company is accepted, not when the batch starts.
Each company works with a dedicated YC general partner and meets weekly in a small group of companies. Companies get access to more than $12 million in free credits and deals from partners such as OpenAI, Anthropic, AWS, Google Cloud, Azure and Stripe. Near the end of the batch YC introduces founders to its network of investors.
Applications are submitted online. YC says it encourages founders to apply as soon as they are ready, and that founders can also apply now to the later Spring, Summer and Fall batches through Early Decision.
