Grant Rolling

Tether Developer Grants Program

Tether pays developers roughly $1,500 to $4,000 per completed task on its open stack for local first AI and payments. Applications for active grants are open with no deadline.

The Tether Developer Grants Program funds developers who build on Tether's open technology stack. Each grant is tied to a defined task with a fixed payout and a deadline. Individual payouts currently range from roughly $1,500 to $4,000 and are paid for completed work rather than as open ended funding. There is no cap on total payouts.

The program covers four stacks: QVAC, MDK, WDK and Pears. Tether lists five kinds of work it funds: core libraries for these stacks, technical documentation and onboarding resources, applications built on the stack, research in decentralization, edge AI, peer to peer networking and cryptography, and tooling, integrations and open standards.

Developers pick an active grant task and apply for it on tether.dev. The program is rolling and was announced on May 11, 2026. The announcement does not state any restriction on who can apply.
