Arbitrum runs a three week online buildathon with $115,000 in prizes and grants. Registration on HackQuest closes on October 2, 2026, submissions on October 4.
The Arbitrum Open House Singapore Online Buildathon is a three week online hackathon run by the Arbitrum Foundation with HackQuest. It offers $115,000 in prizes and grants. Building runs from September 14 to October 4, 2026.
The open category pays $70,000 in USDC: $40,000 for first place, $20,000 for second and $10,000 for third. At least one of the three places is reserved for a project built on Robinhood Chain. A Promising Products track pays a further $15,000 in USDC, split $7,000, $5,000 and $3,000. The Arbitrum Foundation has also set aside $30,000 in USDC for grants, which it hands out case by case. Prize money in the open category is paid half up front and half after milestones.
The buildathon is aimed at early stage founders at any point in development, from validating an idea to refining an existing product or building a first onchain product. Projects use Solidity or Rust and must be deployed on an Arbitrum chain. Both new and existing projects can be submitted.
Registration is open on HackQuest until October 2, 2026. Submissions close on October 4, 2026, and winners are announced on October 12. The top teams earn a place at a three day in person Founder House in Singapore about a month later, with sessions on product direction, customer discovery and go to market.
The organizer says it is looking for teams that explore frontier areas such as AI agents and new financial primitives, and that solve real world problems with the advantages of onchain systems. Judges look at smart contract quality, product market fit, innovation and the problem being solved.
