The Airwallex Agentic Banking Hackathon asks teams to build software agents on Airwallex APIs, including global accounts, foreign exchange, payouts, cards, and transaction data. Founder's Choice pays $30,000 and Judges Choice pays $20,000, both in an open category. The Visa Award pays $15,000 and requires Visa and Airwallex tooling. Anyone 18 or older can apply, including developers, designers, data scientists, and founders. You can enter alone or in a team of up to four. You keep ownership of the project. A submission needs a working demo, a video under five minutes, and a repository with setup instructions.
Applications opened on 5 October 2026 during SF Tech Week and close on 23 October 2026. Accepted teams are told on 25 October, when the build period starts. Project submissions are due on 13 November. Finalists are selected on 15 November. Demo day is on 19 November in San Francisco, and remote participation is optional.
