Liftoff Founders Week 2026 for AI safety founders
Liftoff Founders Week is a one week accelerator in London for people starting AI safety projects, with a £1,000 stipend and paid travel. Apply by 12 October 2026.
Liftoff Founders Week 2026 is a five day, in person accelerator at LISA in London from 9 to 13 November 2026. It helps people start AI safety projects under Project Tailwind, a funding programme of Coefficient Giving.
Participants get a £1,000 stipend. Liftoff also pays for travel to London and a hotel for the week.
Founders, research leads and operators with a track record in AI safety or a related field can apply. You can apply alone or as a team of two to four. You do not need a finished idea or a co founder.
During the week, participants scope a problem and pitch to Coefficient Giving grantmakers. Funding decisions come within two weeks. The page says Project Tailwind pre seed grants range from $200k to $2m. Promising teams then get two to four weeks of support from LISA and Pivotal to write a full proposal.
Apply with the Airtable form by 12 October, anywhere on earth. Decisions are sent by 19 October.
