Constructor Start accelerator 2026

Constructor Start is a 10 week online accelerator run by the Entrepreneurship and Innovation Center of Constructor University Bremen. The program is free of charge. It welcomes early stage startups from global markets that have a minimum viable product or technology ready to introduce, with a focus on deep tech and software. Up to 30 teams are selected. Applicants also get free access to online courses, and a certificate from Constructor University after the courses and a final pitch.

Applications go through the Constructor Start page from 7 September 2026 to 31 October 2026. Review continues until 1 November 2026. Constructor plans to name the participants on or about 2 November 2026. The program runs from 5 November 2026 to 11 February 2027. Teams must attend the scheduled online sessions.

At the end, up to 25 teams may be shortlisted for an online demo day, and up to 20 for an in person demo day at Constructor University in Bremen. The terms place that demo day in February or March 2027. The program page lists an online demo day on 11 February 2027 and a Bremen demo day on 11 March 2027.

The terms, last updated on 1 September 2026, say a demo day winner may be eligible for up to USD 300,000 in return for a portion of equity from Constructor Capital or another partner firm after demo day. Any investment needs a separate agreement. The program page also describes funding opportunities of up to USD 1,000,000, including an initial USD 300,000 investment opportunity after demo day.
