YouCam API Skin AI & eCommerce VTO Hackathon 2026
Perfect Corp. offers $6,000 in prizes for web or mobile apps built on its YouCam APIs for beauty, fashion and online shopping. Submissions close 2 November 2026.
The YouCam API Skin AI & eCommerce VTO Hackathon is an online Devpost event run by Perfect Corp. Developers build a working web or mobile prototype that uses at least one YouCam API and gives clear value to shoppers or retailers in beauty, fashion or online shopping.
There is $6,000 in prizes. First place gets $2,500, second place $1,000 and third place $500. There is also a Women in Tech Special Award of $1,000 and a Rising Star Award of $1,000 for students. A team can win only one prize. The top three also get a feature blog post and a marketing meeting with the organizer.
Individuals, teams and organizations can enter. Residents of several countries are excluded, including Brazil, China, Italy, Quebec, Russia, Ukraine, Vietnam, Iran and Cuba. An existing project is allowed if it was clearly updated during the submission period.
Registration opened on 24 September 2026. Submissions open on 29 September and close at 11:45 am ET on 2 November 2026. Judging runs from 3 to 20 November, and winners are announced around 24 November 2026.
Entries are judged on technical implementation, design, potential impact and quality of the idea. Submit through Devpost with a link to a working demo or test build.
