UNIDOS Hispanic Heritage Month Game Jam 2026
The UNIDOS Game Jam for Hispanic Heritage Month offers $1,000 in prizes for games made during the jam. Open to anyone 18 or older until 19 October 2026.
The UNIDOS Hispanic Heritage Month Game Jam is the seventh yearly jam run by Latinx in Gaming on itch.io. Judges are chosen with the organizer's partners at Unidos at PlayStation.
There is $1,000 in prizes. First place gets $550, second place $300 and third place $150. Entrants keep full ownership of their games.
The jam celebrates Latinx heritage and is open to anyone aged 18 or older. Games must be made during the jam period. Any asset you made, bought or licensed properly is allowed. Games must run on Windows with nothing else to install, or in a browser. Games found to use generative AI are removed from the prize pool.
Submissions opened on 18 September 2026 and close on 19 October 2026 at 03:59 UTC, which is the evening of 18 October in US time. Judging runs from 19 to 31 October, and winners will be announced on 6 November 2026.
Games are judged on quality, creativity, fit with the theme and use of the five optional challenges. Using at least one challenge counts toward the score.
