The Ethereum Foundation ESP is taking University Program applications of up to $500 for campus Ethereum work in India. This RFP closes September 30, 2026.
The Ethereum Foundation Ecosystem Support Program is running the Road to Devcon 8 India University Program. It funds student groups, professors, and academic institutions that want to build lasting Ethereum work on campus before Devcon 8. Applications opened on April 20, 2026 and close on September 30, 2026.
Financial support may not exceed $500. Ticket requests may not exceed five. Approved grants are paid on chain in ETH by default. Support can cover campus workshops, research seminars, lecture series, student clubs, hackathons, reading groups, and academic collaborations that introduce students and researchers to Ethereum.
Applicants must be based in India or targeting Indian academic audiences, and must be affiliated with or led by a university, academic institution, student group, or faculty member. Eligible events and initiatives must take place between May 15 and October 15, 2026. The page also asks for a publicly accessible event or registration link, a budget breakdown if funds are requested, and a commitment to promote Devcon and share a post event report.
Apply on the ESP RFP form. ESP asks applicants to follow the University Program application template and to show how the initiative reflects Ethereum's CROPS values.
