The Databricks AI Social Impact (DAISI) Challenge Singapore asks students to build AI projects with a social purpose. The prize pool is US$24,500 and is paid in credits, training and certification for the top three teams.
The challenge is open to college students from Singapore Institutes of Higher Learning. Teams can have one to four members and every member must be above the legal age of majority. Companies and professional organisations cannot take part.
Submissions run on Devpost. The submission period opened on September 16, 2026 at 12:00 SGT. Idea submissions close on October 6, 2026 at 23:59 SGT.
Demo Day and the winner announcement follow on October 27, 2026 at 19:00 SGT.
