AWS Communication Developer Services Agentic AI Partner Hackathon 2026
AWS pays a $40,000 prize pool for agentic AI built on its communication services. Open to AWS Partners until October 28, 2026.
The AWS Communication Developer Services Agentic AI Partner Hackathon takes submissions until October 28, 2026 at 1:00pm PDT. The prize pool is $40,000. First place pays $18,000, second place $8,000 and third place $4,000. A separate Best of WhatsApp award sponsored by Meta pays $10,000.
Entrants build an AI solution that uses at least one AWS Communication Developer Service. A submission includes a code repository, an architecture diagram, a written description, a three minute video demo, a link to the deployed project and an AWS Partner Central opportunity ID.
The hackathon is open to AWS Partners. Devpost lists it for professionals and post graduates who are above the legal age of majority in their country. Entrants from most countries and territories can take part, with the standard exceptions named in the rules.
The event runs online and opened on September 14, 2026. Teams can also claim $50 in AWS credits, one per team, and Kiro access codes while they last.
