AI Builder Cup 2026
USD 30,000 cash prize pool for AI prototypes by working professionals in the JAPAC region. Submissions close on October 4, 2026, finale in Singapore.
The AI Builder Cup 2026 is an AI hackathon organized by Hack2skill and sponsored by Google Cloud. It is open to working professionals, entrepreneurs and startups across the JAPAC region. The total cash prize pool is USD 30,000.
The winner receives USD 10,000, the first runner up USD 7,000 and the second runner up USD 5,000. Four further awards of USD 2,000 each go to the best use of Google Cloud AI tools, the most impactful solution, the social choice award and the best UI/UX. Shortlisted teams get fully sponsored travel and stay in Singapore for the Grand Finale, where only two members per team travel.
Participants must be 21 or older and based in the JAPAC region. Cross country teams within JAPAC are allowed. Teams have 2 to 4 members, and you can register solo and form or join a team later. Students are not eligible. If any member of a team is a student, the whole team is disqualified, even if this is discovered after shortlisting.
Registration opened on September 1, 2026. Registration, team formation and prototype submission close on October 4, 2026. Evaluation runs from October 5 to November 6, finalists are announced on November 7, and the Grand Finale takes place in Singapore on December 4, 2026.
