AssemblyAI Voice Agent Hackathon 2026

The AssemblyAI Voice Agent Hackathon 2026 is a month long online challenge run by lablab.ai together with AssemblyAI, a voice AI infrastructure company for builders. It runs from September 1 to September 30, 2026. Every participant builds on AssemblyAI.
The prize pool is $10,000: $5,000 in cash and $5,000 in AssemblyAI credits.
Registration stays open for the whole build window. You can start on day one or pick up a project halfway through the month and still submit. The hackathon is fully online, so you can join and build from anywhere in the world.
lablab.ai asks participants with a company email to use it when registering or submitting a project. This helps the organizers understand who is building with AssemblyAI and share related opportunities after the hackathon. Personal emails are welcome as well.
